Amit Kumar Das

Amit K. Das.  An artist and fashion designer based in Delhi, whose creative journey began at the early age of 10. Entirely self-driven and dedicated, he has trained under several senior artists since 2000. His artistic excellence has been recognised with the "AnkanRatna" award by the Painting Department of the Bangiya Sangeet Parishad.

Amit sees art as more than just visual—it's a deep emotional language that speaks when words fall short. Nature, especially the tree, plays a central role in his work. For him, the tree symbolises strength, growth, and hidden depth—its roots reaching down like thoughts, and branches stretching up like dreams.

One of his most remarkable contributions is the creation of a unique medium called “ripping work.” In this technique, he uses a needle to carefully engrave acid-free paper, producing stunning 3D effects with shadows and depth that bring his subjects to life in an entirely new way. His artworks are filled with emotions—joy, sadness, love, confusion, clarity, and more—expressed through flowing ink lines, layered textures, and careful detail. Every curve and mark made by his pen tells part of an emotional story. His pieces are not just visual experiences—they are emotional journeys.

Through his deep connection with nature and innovative artistic method, Amit K. Das offers viewers a space to reflect, feel, and discover the unseen emotions within and around us.
